Leaving this small-time operation
In some high-tower business office overlooking a city with three men (Mr. Lloyds, Saito, Ben) Ryan brandishes a check at them and says some overseas billionaire has paid him a lot of money to go and be a hero for him. The check has an 8 and 8 zeroes on it. Apollon media is too small-time for him, so he's leaving!

Ryan will know he is a hero-- and a well-paid, clearly highly-in-demand one! He will have a vague idea of what that means, mostly that the notion of being paid/sponsored for heroing seems perfectly normal.
He will, most importantly, believe that somebody in Aather has paid him eight hundred million dollars to come and be a hero there.

Ryan is actually very good at the whole televised heroing for profit and ratings thing! He's has an easy-going personality along with his mountain of ego and self confidence; he has a sense of the drama and timing needed for putting on a good show; and he has a recognizable pose/sound effect/catch phrase for when he uses his power.
He wont remember the parts specific to his Gravity Well yet, but he will in general be a flashy bastard who plays up the drama of things.
